Do I have to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes! You can purchase tickets right here!
How much food do we eat?
We visit four restaurants and have multiple shareable items at each restaurant (with a final gelato stop of course!). We'll visit restaurants that represent a variety of different cultures and backgrounds, international and local.
What is the cost of your tour and why do you charge what you charge?
We charge $89 per person and require a minimum of two people per tour. We created a price transparency statement so you can learn more about where your dollars are going.
I have dietary restrictions. Can you accommodate?
When purchasing your tickets, please let us know of any dietary restrictions within your group (e.g., vegetarian, diabetic, allergies). This information is crucial as all tastings are prepared in advance at each location based on the details you provide during the ticket purchase process. To ensure we have sufficient time to make any necessary adjustments, we ask that tickets be purchased in advance. Please note that we won't be able to accommodate last-minute dietary changes during the tour. We apologize for any inconvenience. Our tastings are carefully curated to showcase the best each esteemed food establishment has to offer. In particular, some locations specialize in traditional, family recipes where alternative options may not be available to meet specific dietary needs. If you have severe food allergies, please contact us before purchasing tickets for any of our food tours.
Is alcohol included in this tour?
While you're welcome to purchase alcohol at any of the restaurants we visit, this will be a separate charge which you'll be able to settle with your server directly.
What's the best way to get to the North Park tour meeting point?
There are several ways to get to the meeting point. If you're driving, we recommend you use the parking garage around the corner from the meeting point. There are several buses that drop you off at University and 30th, including the 2, 6, 7, and 10.
What if I'm late for the tour?
We recommend aiming to arrive at the meeting location about 10-15 minutes before the start time, as we start promptly. If you're running late, you can message us through the tour app, or text us at the number we use to communicate with you before the tour so that you can find our current location. We can't guarantee you'll be able to find the group, as we'll be narrating the tour and may not be able to respond immediately. Unfortunately, there are no reschedules or refunds in this instance.
How should I dress for the tour?
Please dress comfortably! The weather is wonderfully temperate here, so usually you won't need anything more than a scarf and a beanie even in the coldest of days. We recommend wearing comfortable shoes, ideally sneakers or comfortable sandals. We advise not to wear heels, as some sidewalks and streets are uneven and it just makes things less fun (unless you like that kind of adventure!). We also recommend not wearing tight clothes. This is a food tour, after all, and we want you to feel comfy all the way through the end!
Can I bring my pet on the tour?
While we love furry friends, unfortunately we won't be able to accommodate them at this time.
Can I bring children on the tour?
We recommend children over the age of 13 attend this tour.
What is your refund policy?
We have a strict no refund policy. We can convert your tickets into a gift card credit with 48 hours advance notice.
How much walking is on the tour?
We cover several blocks in the heart of North Park. We'll take several breaks, both at restaurants and a few fun highlights in the neighborhood.
Do you offer private tours?
We do! You can learn more about booking a private tour by completing our contact us page or signing up for one here!
I have other questions. How can I get in touch with you?
No problem! You can reach out on our contact us page if you have any questions, and we'll get back to you asap.
